My laptop is spoilt, again. I have just repaired it three months ago and now it is spoilt again, what the hell, I really think that I should change and buy a new computer. Right now, I am using my cousin's computer. I really hope that my laptop will be back soon.

Home Bitter Home
Going home has never been hard for me since I am living in Johor, which allows me to go back every weekend by bus. But yesterday was totally different, for this was the last time that I would be going back home from the boarding school. Yes, today is the day that I checked out from the boarding school, forever. With all the lousy food, strict curfews and stupid rules, I have never thought that I would miss the boarding school so much.
Woke up yesterday morning at 8pm because Sien Fong suddenly came in to my room, asking me if I want to go back Malaysia with him by his father's car. I kindly refused the offer since I thought that it was too early and I don't really feel like troubling other people. Went to Sien Fong's room afterwards to help me pack his stuff and bring down his luggage to his father's cars. Count this as returning of a favour since he has helped me with my stuff when my father came to fetch me a few weeks ago.
Went back to my room and saw that Vincent was back, but sleeping. Decided to go to Kelvin'r room and talked to him for the very last time. We had instant noodles together since he needed someone to help him finish his food. He has to leave boarding school at 12 for he has to go for the class outing at Sentosa and class BBQ at night, which I was forced not to go since I have too many luggage to carry and that it would be extremely inconvenient for me to carry all my luggage around.
Went back to my room and Vincent was still sleeping. He must be very tired from all the activities last night. Finished packing all the stuff and threw away all the rubbish which I did not want to bring back to Malaysia. I decided to wait for Vincent to wake up before I left because I wanted to say goodbye to him personally.
It was around 1pm and he finally woke up, perhaps he was awaken by my noisy actions. Said goodbye to him. Wondered and walked around the cluster and the boarding school for the very last time before I left the boarding school gate, forever.
I would really miss the boarding school food, though it might have been unpalatable sometimes.
I would really miss Blue Tea Cafe, for selling all kinds of snacks and junk foods, which I always buy when I do not feel like eating the boarding school food.
I would really miss the laundry room, the place I most dreaded and hated.
I would really miss the boarding school officers, especially Pauline Yee and Erika Hew, for always joking with us and asking me to return my passport to the office.
I would really miss my rooms at hall A and hall D, which I have slept for 6 years.
I would really miss Mr Terng Yew Lian and Mr Toh Liang Seng, my cluster mentors, for being so caring and friendly.
But most importantly,
I would really miss all my friends, especially the Malaysian scholars, which I have spent my past six years with.
The times where we went to have dinner together at the dining hall.
The times where we decided to go to Astons for dinner.
The times where we hanged out together at Orchard.
The times where we walked to school together in the morning.
All these memories will be forever imprinted in my heart.
Going back home has never been hard for me, until yesterday.

Time of Our Life
5th of December is a very special day for all the JC2 students of Hwa Chong Institution, for it is the long awaited senior promenade. This year, the prom was held at Ritz Carlton, a famous five star hotel in Singapore.
Having paid a total of 98 Singapore dollars, I was actually expecting a delicious meal and an excellent ballroom. The ballroom was no doubt beautiful but the food has certainly fell short of my expectations. I did not really expect to see Char Mee (imagine those kind of mee your mother always buys for your breakfast except that it has more prawns) and simple vegetables with mushrooms. The food was really disappointing and, to tell the truth, awful. However, I must say that the baby octopus and the desert were amazing but that was it, 98 dollars for a piece of baby octopus and a bowl of desert.
Do i regret going for prom? Surprisingly no. I have a really good time chatting and taking photos with my friends, especially those who I have never talk to for a long time. I really enjoyed seeing my friends dressing up and wearing nice clothes with beautiful hair. I have never seen my classmates and friends, especially the girls, to dress like that. Actually, I was quite surprised when I saw some of them because they were vastly different from the way they dress in school. I managed to take photos with almost all my classmates and the Malaysian scholars. I also managed to take some photos with some people who I rarely talk to. I must really thank Vincent for lending me his camera, or else I would just be stoning at my table for the entire night.
The emcee for our prom, which I have forgotten his name, was really funny and I think that he has done an excellent job chairing the whole event. He constantly made funny jokes about the Bangkok airport and other really R-rated stuff to capture the audience's attention. I especially liked the way he host the contests because he was really funny while doing all the demonstration for the contestants.
The contests were really fun, especially Mr. Body Beautiful, in which some retarded chap threw his blazer towards the VIP table, nearly hitting Mrs Foo, 真是“四肢发达,头脑简单”. Mr and Miss Congeniality were also interesting and I particularly enjoyed the English and Bollywood MTV. Prom King and Queen, on the other hand, was a little bit boring, nothing really interesting and memorable actually happened, except that CMF made a fool of himself doing some stupid Kungfu moves while walking down the aisle and singing his self-composed song for Britney Spears. I did not really agree with the results for Prom King and Queen for I think that the winners are quite random and I rarely saw them around the school and here I thought that Prom King and Queen are contests of popularity, I am really intrigued by what really happened. Perhaps people forgot to vote because they were busying taking photograph with their friends, I really have no idea.
The rest of the performances were seriously a nightmare. Nobody was really watching the performance as everybody was busy talking and taking photographs with their friends. But the performances really sucked, especially the three guys who sang with the guitars. It was really disastrous and my ears nearly bleed when I hear them singing that random song, which till now, I still have absolutely no idea on the title of the song. Maybe it was a song that they wrote themselves, no wonder it sounded so terrible. Choir performance last night was really nice and I think that it was the best performance of the night. It was the only one that looked well rehearsed and professional.
Prom ended at around 10.30pm and I decided the go back to boarding school earlier for I was really tired. Really sorry for not being able to hang out with the class yesterday night after prom.
That is it. I will try to upload some photos if my Internet permits. It has been really slow these few days and I hope that it will get better so that I can start uploading my photos on to facebook.

Gifts
So, I finally came back to Singapore yesterday. My roommates went out yesterday with his friends and my room was empty when I came back. In fact, the whole boarding school felt empty during this time, for most of the boarders have already returned to their own countries.
Feeling bored and hungry, I decided to go to Bukit Timah Plaza, alone, to have my dinner, Had dinner at KFC and shopped around the plaza afterwards. Went to Popular bookshop and bought some stuff (mainly blank CD-R, CD folder and a pen) to prepare some gifts for my classmates. I am going to give everyone a copy of the edited class photos and the class photo montage. I also wanted to draw on the CD so as to personalise every CD with their name on it.
I started preparing the gifts late at night, at around 9.30pm, starting with drawing their names on the CD. What was really frustrating is that the pen that I bought was not really good at writing on the CD surface and the ink kept getting stuck every time I tried on the CD. To make matters worse, I made a whole lot of stupid mistakes while I was drawing on the CD and was forced to used the white ink (the black and white inks came together) as the correction fluid and this made the CDs look ultra ugly and unprofessional, certainly not my style. Moreover, some of the CDs' backs were also stained with the un-dried paint I drew on the other CD and I had to spend extra time peeling off the paint stains on the CDs. It was really disastrous and I regretted not giving everyone a simple blank disc with no decoration. But whatever it is, they are already finished and are actually looking quite nice in the colourful CD paper folder I bought.
Just finished watching this week's heroes episode and I must say that the story keeps getting lousier and lousier. I really hate the idea of the eclipse which makes people loses their abilities temporarily because I think that that is kind of lame and contribute nothing to the main storyline. Peter's power lost and Hiro's memory lost are also irritating and they make the two characters seem kind of extra in the story. Nonetheless, I am still looking forward to the next week's episode and I really hope that my home Internet connection can perform the "magic" again and allows me to download the episode.
Going to Orchard later with my friends to shop for some prom stuff and probably get a haircut. I am really excited, for this would my first time cutting my hair in a professional salon. Wondering what I would look like after the haircut. =)
