It has been ages since I last blogged, and I, for no apparent reason, suddenly feel like writing something on this already-dead blog. Haha, I don't even know if people still visit this blog or do they even know the existence of my blog. Well, whatever it is, I shall try my best, from this day onward, to write regularly on this blog.
So many things have happened over the past few months while I neglected the blog. Life studying in NUS is excruciatingly boring. Life only revolves around studying, sleeping and eating. What a sad and pathetic life I am leading now. I really envy those of my friends who decided to go oversea and study. Seeing the facebook photos and facebook update make me regretted not applying for JPA scholarship. I would be enjoying myself happily in Imperial if I had decided and waited for the JPA application this year.
Anyway, I will be having my Pharmacy Practice practical test tomorrow, and let me tell you, it is the most dreadful and irritating subject that I have taken for my entire life. The practical for this module is insanely ridiculous. Not only do we need to prepare and compound the medication to be dispensed, we also need to make sure that we stick the label on the bottle/ container as straight as possible, with no overlapping. Any misspelled, slanted, crooked, creased, smudged label would cost you valuable marks. I really wonder what is the point of torturing us into doing such mundane and pointless exercises, where in actual practice, all medication would come already labeled, and that no one really care if your label is 5mm slanted from the center line. Having said that, I must say that the medication preparing process is surprisingly interesting. It is just like cooking, haha. The practical will be much more enjoyable if it is not graded, Fortunately, tomorrow practical test would be an open book one, so that we can refer back to what we have done before for the procedures and any other important information. I just hope that this time the marker can be more lenient and not concentrating so much on the aesthetic presentation of the drug. God please don't let the CY to be one of the marker.
I didn't know that complaining about pharmacy practice can be so fun. Haha, I should really do it more often.
That's about it for now, I should probably sleep early today. Let's hope everything would go smoothly tomorrow.
